O značce Barito

Tak jako stejnojmenná řeka pramenicí v Jižním Kalimantanu na Indonézském ostrově Borneo, je kolekce hodinek a slunečních brýlí značky BARITO Design of Copenhagen velmi rozmanitá. Hodinky s pouzdrem z nejušlechtilejší oceli a páskem z vybraných kousků pravé kůže, obroučky slunečních brýlí zdobené na těch nejobvyklejších místech a v neposlední řadě všudypřítomné gravírované logo dávají pocítit nádech luxusu. V Dánsku, stejně jako v celé design milující Skandinávii, se tato značka zabydlela velmi rychle. Stala se oblíbenou a to nejen proto, že si ji na své návštěvě Dánska vybrala světová modní ikona Paris Hilton.

In spring 2004, we launched the first BARITO collection of sunglasses. It has been a life-long dream to build an attractive fashion brand among the sexiest of all accessories; these are the accessories that define who we are. Eyewear and sunglasses give the individual the opportunity to express a different side to themselves on occasion when it comes to style, theme and colour. We have followed this dream for three years and are still developing a brand with a strong identity and a clear statement by focusing on the goals, believing in our values and having a patriotic will for success.

In 2004, when the first collection was launched, BARITO collaborated with domestic celebrities who styled sunglasses of their own. This collaboratconcept was successfully sold to the fashion retailers in Scandinavia. Later we extended the concept to include German celebrities such as Michael Ballack, DJ Ötzi, Mirja Boes and TV chef Ralf Zacherl. The celebrities join us actively around the table to work with the designs. They have a great deal of say in the process in terms of shape, size, material etc. so that it truly becomes a personal style. A mark or signature is placed on the sunglasses aas another personal feature. This is the same process our new celebrities went through, which included personalities such as Rafael Edholm (SE), Marie Serneholt (SE), Waqas Qadri(DK) and negotiations with other big celebrities continue.
